Genuine OEM standpipe and tube sheet assembly.
The Pentair 59053700 center core (PST SKU PST-17-110-1216) is the one-piece standpipe and tube sheet assembly that sits inside 100 sq ft Clean & Clear, Clean & Clear Predator, and Clean & Clear RP tanks. It holds the cartridge concentric in the tank, seals the clean side against the lid port, and carries filtered water back out to the return. Replace it when the tube sheet cracks or the standpipe splits, because either fault lets raw water bypass the media and push dirt straight back to the pool.

Which center core fits my filter?
Go by the square footage on your filter data label, not the tank diameter, because the shells look alike across sizes. Pentair splits the family four ways: 50 sq ft takes 59053500, 75 sq ft takes 59053600, 100 and 125 sq ft take this core, 59053700, and 150, 175, and 200 sq ft take 59053800. They are not interchangeable, regardless of what marketplace listings claiming one core fits every size tell you.
How do I know the center core is what failed?
Dirt back in the pool within hours of a fresh cartridge cleaning is the tell. Pull the element and look at the core itself. A cracked upper tube sheet, a split running down the standpipe, or a lower seat that no longer holds the cartridge square all give water a short path into the clean side instead of through the media, and no amount of cleaning the cartridge will fix that.
Does this include the filter cartridge?
No. The 59053700 is the core only. The 100 sq ft element that wraps around it is a separate part. If the old cartridge already has a couple of seasons on it, change both at once, since a new core against tired media gives back only part of the flow you are paying for.
