Jonas Winter Algaecide, 1 Gallon, 10 Percent Polyquat

Jonas winter algaecide, part NJ2503C4 and stocked under SKU PST-NJ2503C4, is a 1 gallon bottle of 10 percent polyquat. Polyquat is non-foaming and contains no metals, so it will not stain a plaster or vinyl surface the way a copper algaecide can. Add it at closing and it works through the months when nothing is circulating and nothing is being tested, which is exactly when algae gets its foothold.

Why polyquat instead of a cheaper algaecide?
Copper algaecides can stain, and quaternary ammonium algaecides foam. Polyquat does neither.
When do I add it during a closing?
After the water is balanced and the pool has been shocked and the chlorine has come back down.

Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!

I accidentally broke the original knob by tightening it too much. This was a perfect fit and works 100%. Fast delivery too!
Swapped out broken heater (lasted about 6 years) for this one. The instructions are for the electronics, not for the plumbing. You must get everything perfectly aligned or the plumbing may leak. I needed to loosen the electronics box to get the plumbing perfectly aligned. I have hot water again.
