Always balance pH to 7.2-7.4 and lower free chlorine below 1 ppm before dosing the Stain Eliminator, high chlorine can re-oxidize metals back onto the surface. Dose Rust-N-Scale only after the stain treatment cycle is complete. Add chemicals to water, never water to chemicals. Wear gloves and eye protection. All chemical sales are final.

In what order do I use the two products?
Step 1, prep the water. Balance pH to 7.2-7.4 and let free chlorine drop below 1 ppm. Step 2, dose Stain Eliminator per label, brush stained surfaces while it acts, and run the pump for at least 8 hours. Step 3, dose Rust-N-Scale once the stains are lifted, this crystallizes any remaining dissolved metals so the filter can capture them. Clean or backwash the filter after the run.
Does Stain Eliminator work on organic stains like leaves or berries?
No, this product is formulated for metal stains specifically -- copper from algaecides or copper-based heater elements, iron and manganese from well-water fill. Organic stains (leaf tannin, berries, worms) lift with a chlorine shock, not a metal remover.
Will this protect my salt cell from scaling?
Yes. Rust-N-Scale binds excess calcium so it stays in the water column instead of plating onto the salt cell plates. Combined with monthly cell inspections, you can extend cell life significantly in hard-water regions.
Can I dose both products at the same time?
