DuraChlor Green Pool Rescue Kit, Shock + Algaecide + Mustard Eliminator Bundle
Clear a green or mustard pool in 72 hours.
The DuraChlor Green Pool Rescue Kit (PST-KIT-GREEN) is the three-step chemistry pros use to bring a green, cloudy, or mustard-streaked pool back to swim-ready. You get two 1 lb bags of Quick Shock 56% dichlor for the kill, 1 quart of Combat 60 polymeric algaecide to prevent regrowth, and 2 lb of Mustard Eliminator sodium bromide booster to break through chlorine-resistant yellow algae. Everything you need, in the order you need it, for one bundle price.
Why PST Customers Pick This
Double-Dose Quick Shock
Two 1 lb bags of DuraChlor Quick Shock deliver 56% available chlorine as sodium dichloro-s-triazinetrione. Fully soluble granules sink fast and start oxidizing organics on contact.
Combat 60 Polymeric Algaecide
60% polymeric algaecide works across a wide pH range, is not deactivated by high chlorine, and is non-foaming and non-staining. Locks down green, black, and mustard algae after the shock kill.
Mustard Eliminator Booster
EPA-registered sodium bromide exciter that converts free chlorine into hypobromous acid, the only thing that reliably wipes out yellow and mustard algae hiding in shaded corners and porous surfaces.
Works in Any Sanitizer
Safe to use in chlorine, bromine, salt-generator, and mineral-system pools. The polymeric chemistry plays nicely with every popular sanitation method.
Non-Staining Formula
No copper, no metals, no surfactants that foam. Safe on vinyl liners, plaster, pebble, and fiberglass surfaces when applied per label.
Bundle Pricing
Buying the kit costs less than picking up the three bottles individually. One SKU, one shipment, the full rescue sequence in your hands.
Handling Notice
Pool chemicals are oxidizers and irritants. Always add chemicals to water, never water to chemicals. Wear gloves and eye protection. Store the dichlor shock in a cool, dry place away from acid, calcium hypochlorite, and any organic material. Read each product label before dosing. All chemical sales are final.

Frequently Asked Questions
What order do I add these chemicals?
Start by balancing pH to 7.2-7.4 and brushing the pool. Step 1: broadcast both bags of Quick Shock around the perimeter with the pump running. Step 2: after the chlorine has been circulating for at least 4 hours, add the 2 lb Mustard Eliminator (especially if you see yellow algae). Step 3: 24 hours later, once free chlorine drops below 3 ppm, pour in the 1 qt Combat 60 algaecide as a preventive finish. Brush daily and run the filter 24/7 until the water clears.
What size pool does this kit treat?
The kit is sized for 10,000 to 25,000 gallon residential pools. For a heavily-infested pool under 15,000 gallons, this is a full rescue dose. For pools over 25,000 gallons, double the kit. For pools under 10,000 gallons (most above ground), one kit will cover several recovery cycles.
When is it safe to swim again?
Wait until the free chlorine is between 1 and 4 ppm and the water is clear enough to see the main drain. That is typically 24 to 48 hours after the shock dose and 15 minutes after the algaecide finishes circulating. Always confirm with a fresh test strip or drop-titration kit.
Can I use this in a salt water pool?
Yes. All three products are compatible with salt chlorine generators. The Quick Shock supplements the cell during a heavy algae bloom when the SWG cannot keep up, and the Combat 60 and Mustard Eliminator do not interfere with cell operation.
Why is mustard algae harder to kill than green algae?
Mustard (yellow) algae has a protective coating that resists free chlorine alone. That is why the kit includes Sodium Bromide, it converts your chlorine into hypobromous acid which penetrates the coating. Brush stubborn yellow spots aggressively before each dose so the chemistry reaches the cell wall.
