Heads-up on pH adjustment: pH math depends heavily on alkalinity, which acts as a buffer. The dose below is a reasonable starting estimate. Always add half, wait 4–6 hours with the pump running, retest, then add more if needed.
- 📋 Re-test water 24 hours after dosing before adding anything else.
- 💧 Add liquid chemicals slowly into the deep end with the pump running.
- ⚠️ Never mix chemicals (especially cal-hypo and trichlor) — combine them only in pool water, never in a bucket.
- 🧪 Granular chlorine and calcium can lower pH temporarily — re-test after a day.
